New languages

We're thrilled to announce that AYOA is now available in nine new languages! You can now work in Arabic, Bengali, Traditional Chinese, Farsi, Hindi, Malay, Polish, Thai, and Ukrainian.

You asked and we listened.  

Alongside the new language options, we’ve rolled out a number of in-app fixes designed to enhance performance, reliability, and overall experience. This release introduces improved touch screen responsiveness, enhanced Mobile Safari support and the latest OpenAI model updates.

You’ll notice smoother video playback, enhanced template functionality, seamless note updates, and improved Unsplash search with multi-word support.

On mobile, enjoy expanded translations, smoother chat refresh, refined rating prompts, and faster, more responsive whiteboard performance 

Overall, this update delivers a more fluid, polished experience across the board.

From AYOA to your class in one click. You can now share any AYOA project directly to Google Classroom, making it easier for educators to bring visual mind mapping, task boards, and whiteboards into their teaching without switching between tools. For students, content lands straight in their Classroom feed, keeping everything organised and accessible in one familiar place.

Bulk Archive:
A tidier workspace, in seconds. In your Folders view, you can now select multiple boards and archive them all at once, keeping your workspace focused on what you're actively working on. Especially useful for neurodivergent users who find visual clutter distracting, the bulk archive reduces cognitive load by quickly and cleanly clearing completed projects, without the repetitive effort of archiving one board at a time.

AI On/Off Toggle 

Take control of when AI supports your thinking. AYOA's new AI On/Off Toggle lets students enable or disable AI tools across their account, giving them the freedom to choose when they want guidance and when they prefer to work independently. Perfect for deep focus sessions, reflective thinking, or assessment contexts where original thought matters.

Large Controls

Small interface elements shouldn't get in the way of big ideas. AYOA's new Large Controls option increases the size of key interface elements, including branch targets, resize handles, and attachment icons, reducing misclicks, eye strain, and physical effort. Ideal for students with visual impairments, dyspraxia, tremors, or fatigue conditions, it removes unnecessary barriers so you can stay focused on thinking and doing, not fighting the interface.

Touchscreen Support

Mind mapping just got more hands-on. AYOA now supports touch-enabled devices, letting students draw, drag, and rearrange mind maps directly with their fingers. For learners with ADHD, dyslexia, or processing differences, this physical, kinesthetic approach boosts engagement and memory, making abstract ideas feel more concrete. Work naturally, the way you would with a whiteboard or sticky notes.

Built-in Video Playback

Keep everything in one place. Videos attached to mind maps, comments, and whiteboards can now be played directly within AYOA, no switching between tabs or tools.
